Following the departure of Sébastien Lacroix as Director, the BNIA has chosen to recruit a Communicator to replace him.
Olivier Goujon, 47, a native of Bergerac will manage the Interprofession whilst developing communication activities in France and abroad.
After ten years working in communication for the Union des Oenologues de France in Paris, and more recently at the Syndicat Général des Vignerons de la Champagne in Epernay, Olivier took office at the BNIA on 18th September. A graduate of the Lycée Viticole de Montagne in Saint-Emilion, then graduate school of business communication, he worked for renowned press and public relations agencies in Paris.
Marc Darroze, President of the BNIA is delighted and said “We deliberately wanted someone with a ‘project leader and communicator’ profile, because the BNIA must, as part of its Strategic Plan, more than ever, be a melting pot of ideas in order to boost the promotion and values of AOC Armagnac working alongside the whole BNIA team to set up Production and Quality projects to develop technical expertise”.
