13 to 17 April 2015 – Hong-Kong, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea
Following their full success of last year, tastings and presentations of French wines to buyers, contractors, distributors and agents, is taking place in five Asian cities this year. These meetings are organized in Hong-Kong, Taipei, Tokyo, Osaka and Seoul from April 13th to 17th, 2015, in renowned hotels.
Organized by Business France (resulting from the merger of UBIFRANCE and the Invest in France Agency) in partnership with the CCI (Chambers of Commerce and Industry) from Midi-Pyrénées and with “Sud de France” (Languedoc Roussillon region), the operation aims at facilitating business opportunities between French businesses and local professionals in the sector.
Between 17 and 24 French wine and spirits professionals participate in each event, demonstrating their determination to appeal to Asian consumers. They are coming from the wine regions of Bourgogne, Champagne, Languedoc-Roussillon, Midi-Pyrénées, Bordeaux... without forgetting, for the first time, from the island of beauty: Corsica.
In each of the five Asian cities, the program is organized as follows: the morning is dedicated to a presentation of the local market by an expert Business France for French companies, while the afternoon gave way to the tasting and presentation of French products to professionals Asian.
The first stop of this five-country business trip is HONG-KONG, on Monday, April 13, 2015. The wine tasting session is organized at the Langham Place Hotel from 12:30pm to 4:30pm.
The next day, Tuesday, April 14, 2015, is devoted to TAIWAN with the wine tasting session at the Grand Victoria Hotel, Grand Ballroom, from 11am to 4pm.
Then, the delegation of French companies flies to JAPAN with a focus on two cities: Tokyo and Osaka.
The wine tasting session in Tokyo is on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Nexus, TKP The Garden City Shinagawa, from 1pm to 6pm. In Osaka, it takes place on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Rihga Royal Hotel, Peridot Room, from 12:15pm to 4:30 pm.
The last country visited is the SOUTH KOREA, with the wine tasting session in Seoul, at Novotel Seoul Ambassador Gangnam, Champagne Room, from 1pm to 6pm.
